Send Faxes to the US and Canada from Your Phone
You can send a PDF to a US or Canadian fax number without owning a fax machine. Review the pages, verify the recipient's number and send through SignaraScan. Fax requires an account and internet access; scanning and signing do not.
Your practical walkthrough
Prepare an accepted document
Review the recipient’s instructions and make a clear PDF using the accepted signature method.
Verify the destination and send
Confirm the US or Canadian fax number independently, sign in for fax and review the page count including any cover.
Save the final transmission result
Wait for delivery or final failure. Keep the PDF receipt with the sent document; follow up for acceptance if needed.
Check this before you send
Watch the final delivery status rather than closing the app after upload. Save the delivery receipt with the exact PDF you sent. A successful transmission confirms a connection, not that the office accepted or acted on your paperwork.
Compare the actual cost
| Option | Cost | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| SignaraScan Pro | $39.99/year or $3.99/month | 360 pages/year on annual plan; 30/month on monthly plan. US/Canada outbound fax. |
| Pro Cloud | $59.99/year or $6.99/month | 600 pages/year on annual plan; 50/month on monthly plan. Optional backup. |
| Copy shop example | $2.00/page | Illustration only. Ask your location for a current quote, cover charges and tax. |
| Weekly subscription example | $9.99/week × 52 = $519.48 | Hypothetical offer, not a claim about every app. Compare the checkout price. |
The 14-day trial needs no account or card for local scanning and signing. Check available fax pages or page packs in the app before sending. Purchased fax packs do not expire; plan allowance terms are shown in the app.
Questions people ask
Do I need an account?
Not to scan, sign, annotate or export locally. Fax and optional cloud backup require an account.
Does a delivery receipt prove acceptance?
No. It records transmission status, not human review, legal service or approval of a filing.
Can I send an international fax?
SignaraScan fax coverage is limited to the United States and Canada.
